I hardly believed my eyes when I saw he got more than 100k damage a minute in a scenario. See for yourself:

Yes, 5:09 minutes, 45 deathblows and 544,121 damage. Of course he’s being backed up by two healers when we go into scenarios, but almost any player who runs premades is bound to have a healer or two in their groups.

Congratulations to FOTF, we finally finished Lost Vale! Not that it was that hard, really, as long as we had at least four wards. This was our third or fourth foray into the zone. Our first attempts were made before our tanks had 5/5 wards. Unfortunately during the previous two runs, we had two Slayer pieces drop, one before the class was even in the game. To everyone’s disappointment, I managed to get 5/6 of my Darkpromise set. I was personally hoping for a Bright Wizard chest because ours doesn’t have his Sentinel piece yet.

The encounter took us about two hours to learn, and if you include the 10-minute run back to the encounter (until we figured out how to reset it) that’s not too bad.

Anyway, enough of that PVE crap. We also took the Inevitable City again. This will make it three for Order, zero for Destruction.

After sacking the statue area.

 We had a good group, but unfortunately we did not have the tanks to complete the second stage. We did confirm that we can tank the hero with a 5/5 Sentinal-warded tank. Unfortunately the only tank there with the wards was Andora. At least we learned something.

On the leader boards, as of Monday morning Grilar got #1 renown for the week in Engineers, bringing him to #9 of all time.

Finally a /wave report, which we haven’t had in a really long time.

Here is the Destro attacking Pelgorath’s BO in Dragonwake.

They tried one push and disappeared. After the Fortress siege ended, the Destro near immediately capped all of the keeps and Battle Objectives in Dragonwake. It was smart and coordinated.

• Saaz with #3 Swordmaster in most renown earned, #9 in class for most players killed, #1 in class for guild leaders killed and #3 in class for most scenarios won.
• Andora with #10 Swordmaster in most renown earned, #8 in class for most players killed,#7 in class for guild leaders killed and #6 in class for most scenarios won.
• Organdonar with #10 Rune Priest in most renown earned and #7 in class for most scenarios won.
• Pylith with #8 Bright Wizard in most renown earned and #7 in class for most scenarios won.
• Dworf with #6 Rune Priest in most players killed, #8 in class for guild leaders killed and #8 in class for most scenarios won.

Saaz, Organdonar and Pylith all rerolled about three weeks ago, though. So their new characters have not yet shown up in the overall rankings (though Saaz’s BW, Khaevil, is on the weekly rankings).

In other news, I’ve been playing an alt occasionally, a Bright Wizard named Xorena. I had to take a screenshot of the group makeup last night in Tor Anroc:

Yes, that many BWs. I have no idea how to recruit more healers to the realm. Everyone wants to do LOLdps it seems. (I already have a healer so I can roll whatever alt I feel like.) If you have a good idea on recruiting healers, short of paying for their subscriptions and a personal maid, drop a line in the comments section.

The assault was interesting to start. When we got there the outer doors were closed, so we all had to die on NPCs while Nerdgasm ressed us up top. We finished the inner door and tried to go up top, but the few defenders easily wiped us. Oh well, back to Serpent’s Passage with this disturbing report:

We did a lot of Serpent’s Passage, and apparently Pylith did so much of it that he crept up on the leaderboards. He got #8 for weekly scenarios won! I should also mention our other leaderboard member: Saaz with 122 guild leaders killed came in at #8 for the week and #8 of all time (fess up, how many of those kills were yourself?).

I would also like to offer a hearty congratulations to everyone for not making headway in any of the PVE whore categories: Defenders (#1 in PQs) and Champions (influence gained). By the way, if you just want to see how you did vs your class, you can click in “sort options” in the upper right. For instance, Saaz was #7 in renown earned by Swordmasters, Organdonar was #5 of Rune Priests,  Pylith is #3 in scenarios won out of Bright Wizards. Perle, as far as I can tell, doesn’t play as much as the other Arch Mages on the server and doesn’t get anything in the top 10. (sadface)
