Mythic gives props to FOTF blog
No posts in the past few days. Needless to say work is quite busy or I would’ve acknowledged this sooner (doing the work of people who have been laid off in addition to regular duties is very stressful, but I do still have a job).
Andy Belford posted on the Mythic site linking to various bloggers. He mentioned Fight on the Flag! Yay!
- Fight on the Flag – Dey is talking about fightin, dat’s gud!
No insight today. Time to get back to my 50 hour-a-week job with one-hour commute each way.

Congo Rats. I love how Mythic gives props. Since I no longer just post about WAR, I am a pariah among mythic, but meh. I still love them.

I am on Mythics black list, but I like it that way.

Meh, I used to think I was on the black list too, yet here I am. It’s sort of like industry awards. Every year that I don’t win I’m like “It doesn’t matter. I love my job and I’m damn good at it.”
But when I do win an award I change my tune: “Oh this is a validation of all my hard work and I am awesome!!1!.”

At least you’re not angry.
Apparently, I am.

Yeah it would be nice to have that extra exposure, but it might also affect how I write. If Mythic is sucking up to you than isn’t it going to be alot harder to write your true feelings about things?

How is telling people that you exist and are writing stuff sucking up? I might’ve gotten some exposure but I don’t even have ads on there, I got nothing for it.
I always wrote whatever I wanted and never even knew there was a blogger rollcall until someone told me I was in it so that never weighed in when I was posting about whatever.
But then again, I don’t usually get frustrated at WAR. I vent my frustration by screaming with my cat under the covers.

Don’t know what the big deal is. Doesn’t every girl with a cat do that? Sure, the critter gets a bit jumpy afterwards but… hey, where’s your dirty mind taking this?
