The Aion level grind

pvesuck

Aion — the game where you fight mobs and fight to stay awake at the same time!

A group of us hit 25 this weekend. My god, is the grind long and boring. We wouldn’t even bother if we didn’t see the potential in the game though. The flight is pretty cool but I think a few of us are on the fence about how much effort this is worth.

That’s why I haven’t posted much — who wants to stare at a few pictures of the level grind?

There, happy? Now stare at that picture for about 10 hours and you get an inkling of what we’re going through.

One more quick note, we’ve changed our guild name. <Fight on the Fla> wasn’t doing it for us. We are now <Mile High Club>. I’m not going to visit the URL to determine whether it’s taken or not. I’ve got safesearch off.

I am still trying to figure out how people are hitting 40 already. I feel like I am grinding 24/7, and I am just 32. They must know some secret quadruple xp area. I saw one guild all 30 chars in the guild were 35+.

Isn’t that guild name going to get reported? You should of went for Fight on da Flag, Fight on el Flag, Fight on da kisk or something.

    Heya, thanks for reading.

I have no idea how people are hitting 40 already. Maybe they are unemployed? I could see it if they grind things and grind and grind and grind and do no crafting or exploration.

Regarding the guild name, maybe so, but there’s a guild called Cupid Stunts, and they aren’t banned yet. I do have a backup name just in case.

Does this mean no more warhammer? Please don’t make me play Fallen Earth or Aion.Arrrrrr

They just fixed our guild name yesterday from Prestige Worldwi to Prestige Worldwide. So hopefully you left someone in the guild so you can go back.

@Jebal, for now it means no more Warhammer. My sub runs out in two months. Who can say? The changes look intriguing.

@Blazeric did you have to petition to get that change? We didn’t. We definitely kept the guild name on an alt. It’s more for the increased vault space than anything else.
