Saturday AB woes and qotd

We had a good win/loss ratio, but the losses we had were frustrating. The losses boiled down to either being out geared or having too few people to make up for the pugs. I made some macros (played by Kinare) to help the pugs understand our strats.

Quote of the day

We did eventually win this game with a 5 cap. They just gave up completely. We had two games all day where they completely gave up. But I think as a guild we only played about 15 games.

An organized AB map

Some things to work on:

1. FotF members tend to learn faster than the general populace and I can speak to this from experience. Don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do or where to go. Do what logic dictates. If you see farm is overrun and allies own stables, get out of combat and take a couple of people to stables.

2. If you’re in the above situation — you’re at farm and you want to attack stables — make sure your strike force attacks in unison. You have at best 30 seconds before reinforcements come. Make sure your attacks are quick and focused. If possible, try to get another strike force to hit a different node before you hit stables.

3. Please don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do. It frustrates those of us who lead a lot. We’re not PVP gods. But if you see where the alliance is, then you can guess where the alliance is not.

4. Keep an eye on those flags! I know killing alliance is really fun and it’s easy to lose track of those flags. Hit them with anything you’ve got. Wands, guns, etc. Live up to the name of our guild.

5. Of course have fun! This shouldn’t be a “grind.” Once we get the strats down then we’ll roll everyone.

A quick note, arenas at noon server. See you on the battlefield!
